How the Partnership Works for You

The Reality: Land under pressure

Overgrazing and soil degradation have reduced the productivity of your pasture. When the soil fails, the yield drops, which may be increasing the financial pressure on your farming business.

The Solution: A more sustainable, more profitable model

We can partner with you to reverse this cycle. The AcClima project provides the funding, the technical expertise, equipment, materials and the field teams to upgrade your land. We do not buy your land; you retain full ownership. We invest in your farm’s infrastructure, forests and soil to create a stable, diversified income stream that sits alongside and improves your farming activities or, if you choose, replaces traditional cattle ranching.

The Impact: A More Valuable Asset

We fund the project activities, including the installation of high-quality fencing, cattle water infrastructure, rotational grazing systems and the planting of native trees. We will also assist you with training on rotational grazing to help improve the productivity of your cattle farming. By the end of the project, you possess a restored ecosystem, improved soil health, and a secured legacy.

Your Revenue Options

We offer two distinct models, so you can choose the level of operational intensity that fits your business goals. We are not a philanthropic organisation and our relationship is a business partnership. In both models you receive a fixed and escalated guaranteed lease payments plus a share of carbon revenue from the project.

Option 1: The Hybrid Model (Silvopasture + Reforestation)

The Goal

  • Optimize your ranching while restoring value.

The Mechanics

  • We provide and install rotational silvopasture infrastructure that allows for sustainable intensification and better results for your cattle farming. In the pasture land that is freed up, we restore the native forest through planting native tree species.

The Gain

  • You receive infrastructure upgrades (fencing, water systems) and technical support for higher productivity farming. You continue ranching, with better yields and healthier land while generating income from the reforested zones.

Option 2: The Conservation Model (100% Reforestation)

The Goal

  • Exit cattle ranching and shift to passive income from your land.

The Mechanics

  • We reforest 100% of your eligible pasture to native rainforest by installing, fencing and planting native trees.

The Gain

  • You make a complete transition away from livestock operational costs. This focuses entirely on ecological restoration, offering you a passive income model based on land payments and shared carbon revenue.

The Enrollment Process

Simplicity and Due Diligence.

We handle the administrative heavy lifting. We navigate the public registries and the legal frameworks so you don’t have to.

  1. Direct Contact: We meet you on the ground—at district meetings or directly on your farm—to explain exactly how the numbers work for your specific situation.
  2. Expression of Interest (EOI): You signal interest. This grants us a period of exclusivity to assess your land’s potential without binding you to a final contract yet.
  3. Technical & Legal Audit: We conduct due diligence. We verify your land titles via SUNARP and assess legal status.
  4. Termsheet: We sign a non binding termsheet with you that summarises the proposed agreements between us, but does not contain the full detail that is in the final contracts.
  5. Independent Counsel: We pay for you to receive independent legal advice. We want you to sign the contracts with us with full transparency, understanding of the contracts and confidence in the arrangements.
  6. Execution: We formalize the partnership by signing Surface Rights and Permanence Agreements and begin operations.

Suitability and Eligibility

The Technical Audit.

Before investment begins, we conduct a full suitability scan of your property at our expense.

  • Legal Baseline: We are prioritising land that is titled and registered in SUNARP, but will also assess various forms of untitled land with a view to assisting untitled landowners to achieve titling as one of the co-benefits of the project.
  • Biophysical Scan: We use high-resolution satellite imagery, drone imagery and on-site engineers to evaluate your soil conditions, slope, baseline biomass, and historic deforestation data.
  • The Farm Management Plan: You receive a tailored management plan for your farm. We map exactly where the silvopasture grids go and where the reforestation lines begin on your specific property in order to help ensure that your productivity and farm health are improved.

Our Restoration Process

From the nursery to the long term monitoring – we will coordinate closely with you and manage the execution.

Many projects rely on “set and forget” methods. We do not. We operate as an ecological construction firm and are here to partner with you for the long term. We manage every stage of the project to ensure we deliver on our promises and your asset performs.

  1. Site Preparation: We prepare your land and control invasive grasses that can choke young trees.
  2. Infrastructure updates: We supply and install boundary fencing, rotation grazing fencing, and water infrastructure for your cattle.
  3. Precision Planting: We do not scatter seeds. We use sophisticated mechanical planting machines and we plant a scientifically validated mix of native tree species designed for maximum survival and carbon yield.
  4. Digital Monitoring and Verification: Working closely with you, we monitor progress using satellite imagery, drones, and ground surveys.
